Outreach Ministries

Yulee United Methodist Church offers a home to Yulee Stitchin' Sisters.

Our Group meets on Tuesday mornings from 9 am – 12 noon at the church.

Over our 20 years of gathering together, a prayer shawl ministry was born and numerous outreach programs have been provided to the community through the group’s efforts, or through personal ministries of our members.

Our group is open to anyone interested in the “Stitching Arts”. We work together providing learning to all and a place where Christian fellowship is encountered each week!

Feeding people in need is our expression of love.   Every week our team gathers, sorts, packages, and provides free food to hungry people in Eastern Nassau County Florida. 

Guided by prayer, our team is made up of folks who go out and collect food from local stores, the Feeding Northeast Florida Food distribution center and from Barnabas Ministries. 

Each Wednesday, from 10 am to noon, our guests are welcomed and given the opportunity to select dairy products, vegetables, fruit, meat, bread, pastries and choose from an assortment of other food items and personal products that may be available on our tables. 

This mission takes many dedicated people each week to make Wednesday a morning of feeding needy and hungry families in Nassau County. 

Toymakers of Yulee is a 100% volunteer,  non profit organization with a mission to "Make Smiles One Toy at a Time". 

They produce and donate brightly painted, hand-made wooden toys to sick and needy children and those in stressful situations, through well organized agencies in Nassau County, Florida, including the Nassau County Sheriff's office, Yulee Primary School and the Yulee Global Methodist  and St. Francis of Assisi Food Pantry.

Volunteers include individuals and organizations that help the ToyMakers of Yulee reach their goal of providing a steady flow of handmade, wooden toys to sick and needy children.

Cash and in-kind donations furnish supplies that are needed to provide the toys to children in need.

As an all volunteer organization, there is no paid management or paid employees. All donations go toward the toy making process and maintenance of tools. 

Florida's Methodist Children's Home is one of the many organizations our church supports outside of our normal mission giving.  

With campuses in Enterprise, FL and Madison, FL, this ministry has helped countless children and teenagers throughout it's existence thrive and grow.  They provide housing, schooling, education support and therapy that is essential to the success of the students that enter into their care.
